Protecting our client's privacy is our core mission. The purpose of this Notice is to explain the information we collect about clients and how we use it.
Information We Collect
In the ordinary course of business, we collect, retain and use information about our client's in order to service them as well as we can. This data is collected from several sources including information we receive from our clients in writing, in person, by telephone, electronically or on applications or other forms. It may include information about their assets, information about their transactions with us, our affiliates, and others which may consist of information about account balances, information we receive from credit reporting companies such as credit reports; and information collected from the Internet.
Information We Disclose
We do make available, outside of Temple·Suisse, the information assets entrusted to our custody or the account numbers of our clients.
From time to time and when we deem it necessary to facilitate the handling of our relationship with our clients, we will share general information with third parties as permitted by law and subject to applicable mandatory confidentiality obligations which apply in certain jurisdictions. We only share information that is required for third parties to perform their job. Any information released from Temple·Suisse will be sanitized before release to ensure that account numbers and address information are not associated.
Security of Information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard our clients' personal information. We have strict internal policies against unauthorized use or disclosure of client information. Our clients' information is accessible only to employees on a need to know basis and only for the duration of time needed provide services to them.
Our employees are governed by a Code of Ethics and are reminded of their obligations with regard to the confidentiality of client information through employee training, operating procedures, and our Privacy Policy.
